School Reviews
2 5/16/2011
I would not recommend this school. I have been at this school since 2004 and 2011 is my last year there. I have watched the curriculum improve as well as the teachers. A select group of teachers do their absolute best to help their students succeed, but others are more focused on getting through to the end of the day.
I have highly displeased with the administration however. I know it's a school that enforces dress code, but if it's going to have a dress code, THEY NEED TO ENFORCE IT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. It's ridiculous to see other students violating the dress code everyday. They wear clothes that are too revealing, too tight, or aren't even the proper uniform. This year 2011, students have been out of dress code ALL YEAR. Now, such as today, they have a roundup of students who are out of dress code. They are even handing out referrals for violations of several months past. I believe the new dean, Mr. Flemming is also biased.
Also, every year it seems, whenever the graduating class wants to do something that isn't illegal, the administrations threatens the senior class to not let them walk.
On another note, students get away with much during school hours. In the hall ways, students are ALWAYS showing PDA, such as making out and inappropriately grabbing each other. This is more prevalent in the current freshmen class.
I am just dissatisfied with this school's staff. It is RIDICULOUS. I honestly wish I attended a different school.
