School Reviews

4   1/20/2020
The time my family has experienced with this school is just shy of a year now and I am NOT impressed in the slightest bit for more reasons than this review will allow me to express. There is ONE staff member in the office that I would say is pleasant to deal with (Mrs. Peadin **sorry if the spelling isn't correct). As far as administrators... I can't speak for all the individual grade principals as (thankfully) I have not had to deal with them all YET.. but the problem with this school isn't necessarily with the principal(s) but with the teachers employed there. I don't dare go too far into detail as to reveal exactly who I am or to whom I'm the parent of because I know without a doubt the things said here would almost certainly cause certain staff members to take their anger and frustration out on the child or children I, unfortunately, have enrolled at this school. After this school year is over, I will absolutely revisit this post and update it accordingly. For now, the only thing I can do is to warn other parents and guardians that are looking to enroll their children or child into a Johnston County Middle School... steer clear of this one, save yourself and your children the time, patience and heartache this is sure to come to anyone who is willing or unwilling enrolls their child or children into this school. If you have a choice in the matter, RUN!

I am very happy overall with the staff, including teachers, office staff and administration, at Archer Lodge Middle. My son really enjoys going to ALMS and that definitely means something, especially because I feel that the middle school years can be some of the hardest years of any students career. I look forward to my daughter going there next year.

My boys go there and twice they have tried to threaten me through my kids telling them they will get a social worker on me just because I didn't tell them a date for there eye appointment. Most distrustfull staff and disrespectful.
