I have had a great learning experience at BHSA even through Covid. I am a senior and I have made a lot of new friends at school. The teachers, class counselors, and administration are always very supportive. There is a lot of talent at the school and all the studios have amazing shows to showcase this. BHSA offers many different opportunities to see professional shows and exhibits and they also have tons of different after-school clubs to pick from. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in the arts.

I am currently a junior at Brooklyn high school of the arts and I will ensure you that BHSA is the best fit. You can pursue your major (talent ) and you can learn your academics at the same time.BHSA is a peer-like environment everyone helps each other and the teachers care about your education. We also have many different after-school clubs and programs that are fun such as the music club or a bit more academic such as tutoring.

As a senior in high school, I can truly say that although my high school experience hasn't been perfect I've gotten a really good education with teachers and administrators always at my corner. Teachers at this school want to see you do your best. This school is simply full of kind creative and very talented people. BHSA is a community that I have been happy to be a part of.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Brooklyn High School of the Arts. This is not only because I have been a student at BHSA for the past 3 years, but as a junior, I have been around long enough to hear other students sing (literally) their praises! One of the attributes that attracted me to this high school does not only do they specialize in enhancing students'' gifts in the various arts, but the staff at Brooklyn High School of the Arts equally focuses on providing the highest standards of academic excellence. Generally, incoming high students may feel disoriented and experience unwarranted pressures, but the teachers and administrators of BHSA have a way of quickly making you feel you are part of their family who is always ready to support you. When I graduate in 2024, I will certainly be proud to say I am an alumnus of Brooklyn High School of the Arts!

BHSA is great! I've been attending for three years and have learned a lot. I really love my classes and teachers. In small classes there is more one on one with teachers and it's really helpful. Also, the arts program is great and many students get a variety of opportunities.

I'm a current junior at this school. I genuinely look forward to coming to school every day. I am challenged academically and as a musician. I have taken 4 AP Courses since my Sophomore year and have learned how to play 2 other instruments. Teachers are friendly and the environment is family-like. It's rare to hear about fights or drama, and the fact that we support each other as artists adds to our family-like community. We have a diverse community and I've learned about different cultures more than ever!

I`ve been attending this school for about three years now and I love how we get to expand our horizons than beyond just basic education studies ( science, math, etc). Here we really get to open our eyes to things that are amazing. The plays are phenomenal, are it`s stunning to see how this school can put together such an attention grabbing show, and you get to see so much talent, making you see so many different styles of dance, music, and art, and there are so many opportunities in this school to help you strive in your interests as an artist.
