School Reviews

Carroll high school is a very proud school, however the academic programs, teachers, and faculty members lack in major points. Newly defined this year, carroll high school's curriculum is not of the greatest. The new teaching styles may seem good at first, however they teach little of what the student needs to know in a timely manner. The teachers of carroll high school, a lot of the teachers at carroll high school are rude, disrespectful, and do not know how to correctly teach students. Even after NUMEROUS complaints to the school and the school district, from many parents and students, the school district still has not taken action in disciplining or firing inadequate teachers. About 3 of 8 teachers in a student's scheduled will be unable to provide an adequate education to a student. The Facilities of Carroll high school are very nice, the whole school is very clean and tidy, except for the bathrooms which are made disgusting by the students whom urinate on the floors, walls, and toilet seats; students also will often not flush the toilet after defecation leaving feces to be aerated into the once withstand able air. This is not only disgusting but is also a major health hazard (seeing as how human excrement is considered a biohazard). One of the up-sides to Carroll high school is its plentiful abundance of fine arts programs which are top notch and available to almost all students. Carroll also has a great abundance of sports and extracurricular activities that anyone can participate in. Carroll has had a great run overtime in athletic awards. Carroll's football program is one of the best among the country, The high school has won State football championships numerous times. The cross country team is also extremely talented, winning multiple state championships. The Carroll Dragon marching band is one of the best in the area, even though Carroll has not made it to state for marching band in their time of being a 5A school district, they continually make straight 1's in region competitions.
