There are increasingly rare situations in public education where catering to the needs of the whole child rather than simply grinding through rote memorization for standardized tests is set as the benchmark for success. Cub Run is one such school. The little things still matter in this building. Individual principal signatures on ALL (yes 598) student report cards, time and individual attention by teachers and a dynamic and engaged cadre of parents and community volunteers provide for exceptional foundational learning opportunities for students. The "magic" at this school is palpable upon entering the door.
