We love EPMS. Our child thrives in the environment of the Montessori way of learning which is not for everyone. We cannot think of a better community where our children learn and grow.

Eagle Peak runs by a board and a principle that don't care about their students. Unfortunately, they care about Money more! Thinking of expansion of the school is a higher priority than bringing their students back to the classroom. Don't follow county/state/federal guidance BUT they say they follow science. Montessori cared about her students in times of wars and diseases, they preach but don't practice. Not a Montessori way of teaching!

Amazing leadership by trained Montessori's. The beautiful thing is there is no box to fit in since Montessori is about gaining a comfort in focusing on mastery and becoming a complete child (emotionally also). My daughter has attended for two years and everyday it gets better. She has never been happier and feels confident enough to support her classmates, even if it requires standing up for herself. A wonderful place!

If your child does not fit into a box and hop at whatever an authority figure says, this is not the school for you. The principal is authoritarian in her methods, not montessori like at all. Her answer to any problem or perceived disrespect is suspension for multiple days. The children have music and art classes once a week. There is a lot of parent involvement because it is a requirement. Overall they do not follow the montessori philosophies, they just have mixed classes with montessori materials.
