I joined the Franklin Towne family in the summer of 2003 as a teacher and now twenty years later I can't think of anywhere that I would rather be and eventually end my professional career. Sure, the faculty, students, staff, administration, and buildings have changed over the years however, the change has continued to evolve in the right direction beginning with their current leadership team. Franklin Towne has also adapted to a constantly changing educational and cultural landscape and has risen to meet some of the most turbulent challenges---moving to a 1:1 school during the COVID-19 pandemic and hiring an expert in training the staff best practices of remote learning or in the wake of the George Floyd protests, Franklin Towne was proactively entering the school year in bringing in a respected professional expert Brooks Scott who trained our teachers on how to handle difficult questions and concerns over both a virtual zoom platform and in person as well as training on unconscious bias and most importantly building allyship in the workplace. Franklin Towne Charter High School remains committed to putting students and the community first!
