- Georgia Cyber Academy is a statewide, tuition-free, online, accredited public charter school for students in grades K-12. GCA provides a learning environment where students are empowered to reach their full academic potential through participation in live interactive classes and an engaging curriculum that supports individualized and differentiated student learning paths.
- Students and families are partnered with certified teachers who instruct and guide student progress and achievement. In the virtual classroom, students participate in real-time, direct instruction via our online learning management system. During the school day a parent or guardian acts as a learning coach to provide support and guidance in the comfort of home.At present, our population encompasses students from every county and school district in the state of Georgia, enrolling approximately 11,000 students per year. GCA envisions a classroom environment where students can successfully reach their full potential and emerge career or college ready, and prepared to assume roles as positive contributors to society.

I currently am a learning coach for 3 children (my granddaughter Kindergarten, one nephew Kindergarten, and one in 6th grade). At first, I was a little nervous about online school for my granddaughter who is in Kindergarten however, GCA has eliminated any doubts or fears that I had. The teachers are excellent they take time with the children. I enjoy the fact that the children still get the chance to do things as if they were in a real building. The children do crafts, field trips, and fun activities all while learning. They even have Physical Education where they have to actually get up and do workouts. I would recommend this school to other parents who prefer the homeschool experience. My granddaughter actually looks forward to getting up and getting dressed to start classes. All the teachers and staff are just an email or phone call away. With the way things are going right now, I'm so glad that we decided to enroll with GCA. Great school, teachers, and staff. Keep up the good work GCA staff.

I have 2 children enrolled in 2nd and 6th grade, I have 0 complaints about the Teachers & staff. Everyone is helpful and patient, it seems a bit overwhelming at first, getting used to the programs used, but the teachers, liaison, and attendance specialist are helpful and an email or phone call away. My children are very engaged and happy with this decision.

My older two are enrolled in 4th and 7th grade and we highly recommend GCA. It''s a great program, they have quick access to the teachers. They offer to Tutor Me. So they can study and do homework when they need to including extra work to help them understand an area more thoroughly. The teachers want the success of all their students and will work hard with you(learning Coach) to make sure they achieve that. It helps if your student is an independent learner and can access links and complete work if you have multiple students enrolled. They offer field trips online and in-person to meet other students.

My 3 children are enrolled. 2 3rd grade twins. 1 2nd grader. We are thoroughly enjoying this experience. They are actively engaged in learning, also in learning responsibility and scheduling. They are also completing and submitting assignments on various technological platforms. It is set up to help your child succeed. As a parent, I feel completely supported and am very aware of what and how my children are learning. The teachers communicate quickly if you have questions or concerns. There are multiple ways to keep track of completed or missing assignments. Grading and feedback are virtually instantaneous, with the exception of essay type questions. Even that is quick. These educators are performing and rising to challenges. They genuinely care about the success of students. The only thing missing is the opportunity to really socialize. However, that is my lack of effort. There are various parent groups to join so that your children can get together with other students in your area. Given our current pandemic, socialization hasn't been a huge priority for us. Really positive experience with GCA.
