School Reviews

HRE is a great school and we feel fortunate to have our kids there. The teachers and staff we have worked with have all been very caring and attentive, and really seem to enjoy the students. The new principal brought some fresh energy and ideas. I think the school is doing the best it can with what they have under some challenging district budget cuts, etc., and is coming out better than a lot of other schools in the district due to positive leadership and strong parent involvement and support.

HRE is a great school with caring teachers and leaders. Our children have all received the support and guidance they needed during these elementary school years, and we are grateful to everyone who has played a part in helping them grow in their confidence and education. Everyone at HRE takes an active part in helping students thrive - the custodian team, the front office team, the KidsCo team - everyone truly invests in the students. Like any school, there are challenges, but we overall have had a positive experience and highly recommend HRE.

A new principal started in 2022-23 and we have been really impressed with his leadership - very social and involved and takes time to know the students and families.
