Laurel Nokomis is one of the county's top schools in terms of student achievement and parent satisfaction. The school is unique in that it has grades PK through grade eight. The PTO is very involved and each year raises thousands of dollars to provide extras for the students.The environment is warm and nuturing, yet the children are challenged academically.
