This school has a lot to offer the kids i have 2 wonderful sons that attend both of the elementary schools louisa east and west. They have great academic programs they offer after school programs for the kids to help keep them caught up, it was as long as the parents use it. For extracurricular activities like sports and stuff they are really not that involved it is more of a search and find thing there. The facilities are kind of complicated, because they hvae 2 schools and my kids go to different ones so it is a hassel they are normally pretty good at scheduling activites on different days though. East is a lot more up to date than West though. The older the child is the less parent involvement. Also it depends on the teacher. Some of the teachers my kids have had email us every week and give us a heads up on things the kids say or do and then others was like pulling nails! But all and all it is a good scholl for the area!~Krystal Slate~
