The Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies in Mesa, Arizona is an absolutely wonderful school. All the teachers are amazing, and so are the classes/courses they teach. Both the Band and Orchestra programs are incredible here, and art classes are also available. Although Mesa Academy has no official sports teams, the neighboring Junior High, Fremont Junior High has sports tryouts every year available to 7th and 8th grade Academy students. Not only that, but Mesa Academy has numerous after-school extracurricular activities including Yearbook, Student Council, Newsletter, Robotics, and Novel Writing Club. During my time as an Academy student, I have never witnessed nor heard of any physical fights occurring, ever. Overall, the Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies is an incredible 4th - 8th-grade school.
