School Reviews

I''m surprised to read the review above mine. My experience with this school it''s the total opposite. I was definitely disappointed that my child didn''t get to have a kindergarten graduation/ceremony, but it was due to all the covid restrictions. Prior to covid they did graduations ceremonies. Also the used of iPads increased due to covid as well before covid we had no virtual learning. My child is a special needs child and the school was the one contacting us about it and doing all the testing and accommodations she was placed in 504 program because at the time that''s what she needed. After all the covid changes her condition got worse and they immediately place her in special education. They are great with us and our child. I''m very great full for what they''ve done with my child. They gone above and beyond. My daughter have 2 friends with adhd/learning problems that the school reach out to the parents and placed them in 504 with the accommodations needed. My husband and I are very involved with the school and know most of the teacher and school staff. That gives us a good line of communication. I like the support I get from them and I do my best to support them too.

The school does not honor kindergarten graduation nor does it honor the students with end-of-year school awards. They push education through self-taught videos on ipads/computers instead of actually teaching. If you have a student with special needs or learning disabilities, they try their best to not place them into sped so that their numbers do not look bad. Instead, they will label them as 504 and say they will make accommodations within the classroom and it never happens or they will place them in rti and it never happen. I have never seen a school, especially one that receives this huge amount of money from our taxes and they do so little for the students. Some of the teachers allow students to bully other students without stopping or reporting the behavior. What does that teach the kids? Where is the care and love for the actual student?!?!? Working at a school should be much more than just a paycheck.
