School Reviews
5 11/7/2006
Northside High School is a predominantly African-American school. It has very few problems with: fights, drugs, and behavior. Its sports programs are very good and many have gone to state and won. The band program is very good also. They go to a lot of competitions throughout the year. NHS also has a drill squad which is ranked 1st in the state. Many parents are involved and it has an active PTO. The facilities are very clean and kept up. However, it would be nice to have new restrooms. NHS just recently got new lights in many classrooms. The teachers are very nice and can educate the students well. It is a small school which makes it easy on the kids. Everyone knows each other.
