Both my boys went and graduated from PESH. One was a bit delayed academically and the other was advanced. They are now in their 30''s....one is a very successful physician and the other is a very successful salesman in heavy equipment and machinery. I believe Plano schools, and in particular, PESH with some of their specialized programs (Clinical Rotations for the one who became a doctor) played a huge factor in the success they now both have. The school lines have been redrawn since their time at PESH, but I' 'm so glad they were able to go to this great Senior High. Love seeing how well this school is still doing academically. I know the experience and level of success aren't the same for everyone for various reasons, but just saying I do believe the potential is there.

I really wanted to give a 3.5, here''s the thing, I have moved a lot and seen a lot of schools, and this isn't really an amazing school, but it is a good school. If you go here, it is because you have no choice. After all, the state of Texas decides where you go to high school based on where you live, it isn't open enrollment, but I will also say, this school is much better than the other options in the area, and it is by far the safest option. While visiting the other high schools in the area, one of the things I heard from a teacher was that most of the other schools were poorly designed, and he even went on to say that Plano West was designed like a kill box in times of emergency like a lock down because kids by the lunch hall have nowhere to run when the doors lock.
