Being a student at Roy C. Ketcham High School has allowed me to be a part of an amazing community. The teachers here genuinely care about their students, seen as how they all have had to adapt to online learning due to COVID-19 this school year. The school holds many events throughout the year, ranging from college and career fairs to prom and homecoming and the annual Bonfire. Ketcham has a lot of technology that is used in classes, which I found to really benefit my fellow classmates and I, allowing us to achieve above and beyond, ranging from Chromebook and smart boards to the makerspace, computer lab, and library that are loaded with different technological tools to help all the students achieve academic success. Ketcham has definitely taught me many lessons and given me experiences that I will take with me for the rest of my life.

It should not come as a shock to anyone that Roy C. Ketcham High School has been one of the top public schools in Dutchess County for numerous years. The school offers many academic programs such as Advanced Placement and Honors classes. As an incentive to get "good grades" students are given cards to use at specific resturants and companies for different prizes. This facility is one filled with teachers who care deeply about their students and their students' education. And although the security cameras which were installed a few years ago come off as an invasion of privacy, as a student myself I feel I couldn't possibly be more safe. The availability of after school activities is abundant, there is something for everyone. Being one of the top schools does mean that parents are involved with their students' high school career. I would highly recommend this school. I have learned so much at this institution. I've learned not only my school subjects but about life and most of all from my teachers I've learned to love learning.
