This school is the best around. They have superior academics and great athletics. For example, many eighth grade students are going into 9th grade for AP World Geography, Honors Algebra 2, Biology, and Honors English. To top this off, this school has the (if not than close to) greatest middle school band one will ever see, led by the greatest director.

Union Grove Middle (William Blount) has terrible academics. They are a targeted school. They have band and choir as music and football, basketball, soccer, track, cross country and mountain challenge. Union grove is a brand new school. With little or no parent involvement .
