I have had two boys that have attended Union Vale Middle School. One graduated two years ago and one will be graduating at the end of the 2020 school year. Although both of my boys were happy at U.V.M.S., I did not know why until I had to spend more time at the school. The teachers are amazing and care for the students. The administration is extremely positive and also cares for both the students and the families. They go above and beyond to give support to their students. They care for the student's safety. and physical and mental well being and academics(of course). The office staff is also great. I have spent time in other schools, but this has been the first school that I have seen to show so much care for the students and families.

The "team" approach to educating the children solidifies a solidarity among staff members. Unlike the High School, it affords continuity for the students enabling an organized approach to daily work, including homework and extra help. Your student doens't feel lost in the shuffle. The Prinicpal, and assistant Principal body is also very much a part of their daily "life" at the school. There is an enormous amount of enrichment classes offered at little or no cost to the parent. And, of course, a beautiful farm setting adds to the environment.
