This school is great if you have a normal typical child. If not, be prepared for daily struggles!! Getting your child the help they need is going to be a constant fight! The child study team is awful.

My son just started this school year (2017-2018). He was previously in a catholic school but we decided to transfer him to Green Hills School because of the cost (it's free), the reputation of the school (good to excellent feedback based on neighbors), it's closer to us (less than 10 mins by school bus) and every summer, he attends summer camp at the school so he's met a few friends. So when he started, my wife and I were very apprehensive. He did not make new friends until it got to about a month into school. But now, he's enjoying it. He's doing very well in school (5th grader, high honors), the teachers enjoy having him in school, he's made new friends and he's also part of the gifted and talented program in school. Overall, we could not have been happier with our decision. And also, he comes home an hour earlier than he used to, so he has time to do his homework (yes, they have homework) and to relax and play a bit. And yes, there are not too many minorities in the school. My wife and I are Asian, so we are part of that minority. But we've never felt discriminated or something to that effect. Teachers and parents have been accommodating. We're lucky to be in this school district. I know some friends of ours who tried to get their son/daughter into this school, but could not as they are not from Green. They do accept children from other neighborhoods, but it's a lottery system, I believe. But if you can get into this school, your child will enjoy it. Our son did and is still enjoying it.
