School Reviews
5 10/8/2015
This is a great school. As a parent, I love the staff and the programs. The teachers are top-notch and truly care about the kids. The principal, Michelle Anderson, cannot be beat. The children participate in the Accelerated Reading program.
The students attend a revolving schedule of art, music, PE, and library, so they attend these special classes at least once per week. Many of the teachers offer on-site after-school programs to allow for the furtherance of extracurricular education. They have an on-site guidance counselor who also provides regular classes.
The third and fourth grade classes are required to complete the state competency tests. The students at this elementary will move to Deer Creek Intermediate in grades 5 &6, then to Deer Creek Middle School, the Freshman Academy, and finally Deer Creek High School.
