School Reviews

5   11/30/2009
I attended Hopper in 2nd and 3rd grade before being mainstreamed in the 4th grade. I loved it because I had a different teacher for every subject. Even better, they never treated me as if I were too stupid or incapable of success. Actually, they were teaching me the same things any so-called standard student would have learned, maybe even more. At the time, I had behavioral issues and autism, but now at age 20 I am pursuing my bachelor's degree and have a perfectly normal social life. Everyone told my parents I would never lead an independent life, but Hopper helped make it possible.
